Job description

Pricing Analyst, Hyve Group

A bit about us

We’re Hyve — organiser of the world’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking B2B events. As the chosen event partner to many of the world’s leading companies, our platforms play a critical role in their strategies, helping them enter new markets, accelerate growth, and connect with the people who matter most. Our portfolio features some of the world’s leading events in sectors like ecommerce, healthcare, edtech, and fintech. We’re growing quickly with an entrepreneurial culture that empowers big ideas and quick action, plus an ambitious acquisition strategy bringing exciting new events into our mix. Alongside our market-leading events, we’re building tech and data-driven products that supercharge connections — from one-to-one meeting programs and curated roundtables to year-round engagement platforms. Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow — working with some of the most talented people in the business.

A bit about you

First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go.

You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change, and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact.

Our shared behavior guides how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins. If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

A bit about the role

Pricing strategy plays an important role in Hyve’s commercial growth and is a dedicated lever in our new Ascend 30 value creation plan. The pricing function works across all events and products and helps us make informed, data-driven decisions about how we price and package products across the portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, you’ll support Hyve’s annual pricing processes as well as wider strategic pricing initiatives. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data & Analytics and Event leadership teams across the business, you will play a key role in supporting decision-making across the business. You’ll turn complex analysis into practical recommendations and present your findings to stakeholders, with support from the Head of Pricing. It’s an opportunity to deepen pricing expertise, strengthen your commercial judgement and see your work directly influence business performance. This role is hybrid and will be based in our London, UK Office.

As part of your job, you’ll be:
  • Analysing event transaction and post-event research data to provide insights into pricing performance and trends
  • Building and maintaining financial models to estimate revenue impact of proposed pricing initiatives and changes
  • Preparing presentations and presenting analytical findings and recommendations to Leaders from across the business, with support of Head of Pricing
  • Monitoring performance of price changes at events to understand impact of recommendations and tracking against overarching business plan
  • Identifying industry best practices and developing an understanding of other pricing models that could be adopted to enhance and accelerate Hyve’s performance
  • Monitoring inflationary environments in event geographies to pro-actively shape pricing strategy
  • Given the opportunity to develop deeper pricing expertise in a highly commercial organisation, with exposure across sectors and geographies
And here’s what we’re looking for from you:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a pricing or commercial strategy role
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to turn data into clear commercial insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience building complex financial models. Experience with R, Power BI, and/or Tableau is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable way
  • Effective time management skills, including ability to work across multiple tasks and independently react quickly and effectively to changing priorities
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, comfortable working within a matrixed organization and across different cultures and geographies
  • A desire to continue to learn and develop your pricing and commercial capabilities
