Hawk Hiring LTD in Cardiff seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Specialist to join our modern workshop. You will perform routine servicing, safety checks and diagnostic fault-finding on premium vehicles using high-spec tools. Requirements include NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a full UK driving licence and your own hand tools; DVSA MOT knowledge is advantageous.

Salary £35,000–£40,000 per year with uncapped OTE. Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00–5:30, Saturdays on rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or time-served equivalent.
• Structured workshop or main-dealer experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
• Solid diagnostics, routine maintenance and mechanical repair knowledge.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your technical experience and skill level, plus uncapped OTE bonus potential)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Specialist to join our modern workshop team in Cardiff. You will carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, diagnostic fault-finding using high-spec diagnostic tools and software, and general mechanical repairs across a wide variety of premium customer vehicles to high industry standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with a background in structured workshop or main-dealer environments
• Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
• Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
