Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Press Setter/Operator in Long Eaton for an immediate start on a 3-4 month contract with potential to go permanent. You will set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic power presses to produce high-quality steel and alloy components.

39 hours per week across two shifts (6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm). This role is inside IR35 with Umbrella PAYE, paying £17.78 per hour inc shift allowance, with an approximate take-home of £497 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating power presses.
• Valid Power Press certificate is essential.
• Strong attention to detail.

Are you a Press Setter/Operator looking for your next immediately available contract role?

The company are a respected name within the manufacturing industry and are looking to for an Press Setter/Operator to join the team on an initial temp basis. There is strong potential for this role to go permanent for the right individual.

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering press shop, where you will be responsible for setting and operating mechanical and hydraulic presses, producing high-quality steel and alloy components for a well-established manufacturer.

This role would suit someone with previous power press experience who is looking for a position within a well-established manufacturing environment.

The role:

• Set up, operate and adjust mechanical and hydraulic power presses
• 3-4 month contract, with the potential to go permanent
• 39 hours per week, week 1: 6:00am-2:00pm, week 2: 2:00pm to 10:00pm

The person:

• Previous experience setting and operating power presses
• Valid Power Press certificate is essential
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available for an immediate start
