Job summary

Apex Resource Management in Long Eaton is seeking a Power Press Setter/Operator on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will set, adjust and operate a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses in a busy production environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role is 39 hours per week with rotating mornings/afternoons. The rate starts at £16.22/hr plus £1.56 shift allowance, rising to £16.99/hr + £1.56 shift allowance, with potential progression based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mechanical and hydraulic presses.

Responsibilities

Power Press Setter/Operator

Location: Long Eaton

Rate: £17.78 per hour including shift allowance, rising to £18.55 per hour including shift allowance depending on skills and experience.

Shifts: Rotating Shift Pattern - Mornings and Afternoons

Contract: Temporary-to-Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Power Press Setter/Operator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Power Press Setter/Operator to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.

The Role

As a Power Press Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting, adjusting and operating a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses within a busy production environment. You will ensure products meet the required quality standards whilst maintaining safe working practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
• Set and adjust press machinery to meet production requirements.
• Inspect, audit and sign off your own work against quality standards.
