Job summary

Stirling Warrington Ltd in Long Eaton is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Press Operative to join our manufacturing team on a temporary basis with long-term potential.

You will operate traditional/manual hydraulic presses, set machines to specification, load materials and check components for quality, while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Rotating shifts apply, with hands-on progression for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous press machining experience is essential.
• Experience operating manual hydraulic presses.
• Confident operating press machinery without relying heavily on automated systems.
• Good understanding of press operations, tooling and material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, practical and hands-on approach.

Press Operative
Location:Long Eaton
Pay:Up to £16.00 per hour
Shift: Rotating Mornings and Afternoons
Job Type: Temporary with long-term potential

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulic Press Operative to join a well-established manufacturing environment on a temporary basis, with the potential for the position to become long term.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in press machining, ideally working with traditional/manual hydraulic press machines. This is a hands-on role and requires someone who is confident operating older-style manual press machinery and understands the importance of accuracy, quality and safe working practices.
