Responsibilities

• Set up and run machines to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Identify and resolve faults during set-up in line with order requirements.
• Complete paperwork and inputting data accurately into the system.
• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting any issues immediately.
• Ensuring adequate stock of raw materials to maintain productivity.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times.
• Reporting defective machine parts promptly.

Press Brake Setter

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands.This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Press Brake Technician, Industrial Press Brake Operative or Press Brake Machinist.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday


• 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (rotating weekly)

Rates of Pay: £14.00 - £16.20 per hour

Day-to-day duties:

As a Press Brake Setter, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Setting up and running machines to ensure optimum efficiency


• Identifying and resolving faults during set-up in line with order requirements


• Completing paperwork and inputting data accurately into the system


• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity


• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting any issues immediately


• Ensuring adequate stock of raw materials to maintain productivity
