Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturer in Nottingham on a permanent basis. You will set up and run CNC press brakes, interpret drawings, select tooling, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Amada, Bystronic or Trumpf machines, plus forklift or crane experience. Closing date: 8 September 2026. Competitive hourly pay between £14 and £16 depending on experience.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience selecting tooling and adjusting machine settings
• Confidence producing components to tight tolerances

Press Brake Setter / Operator

Location : Nottingham

Job type : Permanent

Pay: A GBP 14 : A GBP 16 per hour (dependent on experience)

Are you an experience Press Brake Setter / Operator looking to join a well established business? We are recruiting on behalf of a successful manufacturer seeing a skilled individual to join their fabrication team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brake machinery to manufacture precision sheet metal components. Working from engineering drawings, youll ensure parts are produced to accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
