Job summary

Allied Vehicles is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our Operations team. You will read engineering drawings, set up and operate press brake machinery, and produce components to exacting specifications while performing quality checks.

You will also complete documentation and support a safe, efficient production environment. The role supports a night shift (Mon-Wed 9pm-7am, Thu 8pm-6am, four nights per week) with a salary up to £21.01 per hour plus bonus, and a comprehensive benefits

We are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our Operations department. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience operating press brakes.

You’ll play a key role operating press brake machinery to produce precision components, following engineering drawings, completing quality checks and supporting the delivery of high-quality products.

Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday, 9pm - 7am and Thursday 8pm - 6am, working just 4 nights per week! The salary is up to £21.01 per hour, depending on experience + bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately set up and operate press brake machinery.
• Manufacture components to the required quality standards, identifying and escalating any issues where work falls below specification.
• Complete all relevant company documentation, including daily and weekly inspection checklists.
• Follow company procedures and contribute to a safe, efficient, and productive working environment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bend components to specification.
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, quality standards, and cost-effective working practices.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
