Job summary

Allied Vehicles is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our busy Operations team in Glasgow. You will ensure parts are manufactured to exact drawings using safe, controlled manufacturing processes.

This role requires hands-on experience with machinery in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow engineering specifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a generous holiday allowance.

• Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed.
• Strive to complete all work in accordance with standard allowed times and report any delays to Supervisor.
• Report any faulty or broken components/machinery to Supervisor immediately.
• Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Operations department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machine operator to join a busy operations team and contribute to the safe and efficient running of production activities.

You’ll play a key role ensuring parts are manufactured to exact engineering drawings and specifications by using machinery safely in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Hours of work are Monday to Wednesday, 7am - 6pm and Thursday, 7am - 5.30pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed.
