Job description

We are currently working with a leading bespoke rooftop terrace manufacturer, who is looking to add a dynamic Press Brake Operator to their growing team!

Job Role: Press Brake Operator

Hourly Rate: £14.16 - £15.93 DOE

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 13:45-22:00

Location: Battle, East Sussex

Press Brake Operator Specification:

• Full valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience with steel machinery (laser machines, press brakes, milling machines, lathes, etc.), ideally relevant to the role.
• Experience in reading engineering drawings.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operation of the Press Brake.
• Machine maintenance and logging.
• Managing time and recording all work accurately on provided timesheets.
• Working from issued drawings and signing off work as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Reporting H&S and process issues to management.
• Following all processes and procedures within ISO9001/BSEN1090 QMS.
• Assisting with goods in and goods out processes.
• Operation of the laser cutter when required.
• Performing any other tasks as directed by the Production Manager/Director.
