Job summary

Leigh Academy Cherry Orchard invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our Preschool team. The role focuses on supporting teachers to deliver scholarly, engaging lessons and to foster a positive learning environment. You will promote good behaviour and provide tailored support to pupils with diverse needs.

The post requires a full Level 3 qualification and prior SEN experience is desirable. The role is fixed-term until July 2027, working 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time plus one week

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification is required.
• Experience working with SEN students is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct.

Responsibilities
