Motive Group is seeking a Presales Consultant in Manchester to join a fast-growing, regulated SaaS business. You will manage discovery, tailor demos for both technical and commercial audiences, and address regulatory questions with confidence.

In this role you will engage enterprise clients, run workshops, and help shape solutions by exploring APIs and integrations while leveraging AI-assisted tooling. A hybrid working pattern with a Manchester office is available.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in presales or solutions engineering in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Confident presenting to business and technical stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of APIs and integrations.
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling preferred.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high-stakes sales cycles.

Presales Consultant | Regulated SaaS | Manchester | £55-65k

Join a well-known, fast-growing SaaS business operating in one of the most heavily regulated spaces in tech.

Motive Group are partnering with an established software firm hiring into its presales function in Manchester.

Depending on your background, the role can lean towards early-stage discovery, demos and RFP support, or towards deeper technical workshops, prototypes and integration design. We are open to both profiles.

You’ll be in front of enterprise clients, making complex topics clear and credible. You’ll run discovery, tailor demos to technical and commercial audiences, and handle technical and compliance questions with confidence. For the right person there is real scope to build working proofs of concept using modern AI-assisted tooling and to own the design conversation end to end.

What you’ll need:

• At least 4 years’ experience in presales, solutions engineering, technical consultancy or implementation, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software
• Confident presenting and leading workshops with both business and technical stakeholders
• A practical understanding of APIs, integrations and web technologies
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, with hands‑on use of tools like Copilot, Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑stakes sales cycles
• Clear, structured communication, written and verbal

Nice to have:

• SQL skills and comfort with large datasets
