Why this role is important to us

The aim of the EMEA Value Advisory (Presales) Team is to contribute to sales cases with existing and prospective clients by providing business and solution expertise to meet revenue targets and expand SimCorp’s profile across EMEA. As trusted advisors, the team members assist clients in making optimal decisions about their solution design.

You will be part of a team of more than 20 consultants across EMEA. In the role as Value Advisory Consultant, you will work closely with the Sales and Customer Success Management teams to understand the client needs and requirements. You will provide high quality demos, workshops and PoCs (proof of concept) in the Operations and Accounting domain and convey the effectiveness of our solutions and services.

You will be reporting to a Director Value Advisory in SimCorp EMEA.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Analyzing workflows and requirements of prospects and translating these into SimCorp solutions
  • Mapping requests from the customer with the product and services offered by SimCorp Dimension
  • Providing high quality responses to prospective client RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (request for proposal)
  • Contributing to and delivering SimCorp Dimension presentations, demos, workshops, and POCs
  • Effectively communicating the benefits and value of SimCorp's solutions to prospective clients
  • Obtaining a thorough understanding of SimCorp's sales model and relevant processes
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio
  • Sharing expertise in overall functionalities of the solution

What We Value

  • Experience in a role in Presales or Implementation in the financial services industry, from an audit company or consulting firm
  • Domain expertise in investment reporting – data acquisition, workflow and production of client reports and factsheets
  • Domain expertise in enterprise data management – reference and market data ingestion related to investment data and vendor data
  • Knowledge in data-related technologies (such as Snowflake and Databricks)
  • Exceptional presentation and functional demo skills
  • Great consulting and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Methodical and systematic approach
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. French or German skills would be beneficial.
  • Flexibility to travel within EMEA from time to time (approx. 5 days/month)
