Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Vehicle Preparation Technician in Leamington Spa. You will carry out pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing, and mechanical repairs to high standards in a busy workshop.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or working towards it) and a Full UK driving licence. Automotive experience in a dealer or fast-fit setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or working towards it.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Proven mechanical skills and diagnostic ability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Experience in a main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit centre, or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections of interiors and exteriors to identify defects or issues.
• Fit approved accessories and perform minor adjustments as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation prior to vehicle handover.
• Execute road tests to verify repairs and adjustments where applicable.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to high-quality standards.

Duties as a Preparation Technician:
