Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent are required.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills; childcare or TA qualification desirable.
• First aid training or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils learning in the classroom and in small intervention groups.
• Reinforce literacy, numeracy and other learning skills.
• Foster pupils confidence, independence and positive attitudes to learning.
• Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support assessment and pupil wellbeing.
• Contribute to wider school life and pupil personal development.
