Job summary

Urbane Cafe is seeking detail-oriented Prep Cooks to be the backbone of the kitchen and ensure precise prep for salads, sandwiches and bowls. Every plate relies on your accuracy and readiness for service.

You will maintain cleanliness and food safety, follow recipes, and collaborate with the team to anticipate needs during busy periods. No prior prep experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• A passion for precision and a high standard for quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Reliability and a positive, team-first attitude.
• Prior prep or kitchen experience a plus — but we'll train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Chop, slice, portion and prep with consistency and attention to detail.
