Job summary

Argyll Partners Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Multi Skilled Operative to help keep our London buildings safe, functional and well-presented.

You’ll handle day-to-day repairs, routine maintenance and practical tasks across multiple sites, collaborating with operations, front of house, engineering and contractor teams. This varied role involves painting, decorating, fabric maintenance and supporting relocations, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality service to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in building fabric, repairs or multi-skilled maintenance.
• Good practical skills across painting, decorating and general repairs.
• Understanding of health and safety, risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Relevant maintenance, building fabric or health and safety training.
• Confidence using digital systems to record and manage your work.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work safely at height where appropriately trained.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and routine maintenance across our buildings.
• Perform painting, decorating, fabric maintenance and general DIY tasks.
• Support furniture moves and changes to our workspaces.
• Carry out routine building checks and identify issues before they affect clients.
• Keep plant rooms, storage and equipment areas safe, secure and organised.
• Escort contractors and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, risk assessments and works completed.
• Work safely at all times and follow health and safety procedures.
• Provide a professional, responsive service to clients and colleagues.
• Support maintenance and operational priorities across the wider Argyll portfolio.
