Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a facilities management team and tackle repair and maintenance work across the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions.

You will be the face of the company, undertaking joinery as a core trade with secondary skills in plumbing, tiling, painting or groundworks, while ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction on every site.

Qualifications

• Joinery as a core trade with practical skills in at least one secondary area.
• Ability to work productively and meet strict deadlines.
• High standards of workmanship with strong attention to detail.
• Professional and polite manners with clients and team members.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to join a shared on-call rota (roughly one week every three months).
• Background in reactive maintenance in a hospitality setting.
• Comfortable use of technology and software for job tracking.

Responsibilities

• Fixing and repairing: respond to daily maintenance requests to fix building issues quickly and safely.
• Using multiple trades: carry out day-to-day repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and painting.
• Planning ahead: complete routine safety checks and planned maintenance tasks.
• Staying connected: use a company smartphone to receive jobs, update progress and log parts used.
• Being professional: maintain politeness with occupants and clients and keep work areas tidy.
