The role covers servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs with opportunities for long-term career development. A UK driving licence is required and MOT qualification or advanced diagnostics are advantageous; salary £40,000–£50,000+ DOE, permanent
Qualifications
- Experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with focus on quality workmanship
- Confident with mechanical and diagnostic work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- MOT qualification or advanced diagnostic experience advantageous
Responsibilities
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Electrical and diagnostic work
- Carrying out inspections and identifying faults
- Using diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose issues
- Completing work to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, organised workshop
- Working efficiently with attention to detail
