Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Exeter is recruiting a Prep Technician to join its award-winning aftersales team. You will prepare vehicles to the high Land Rover standards in a state-of-the-art workshop, performing PDIs and ensuring quality and compliance before customer delivery.

The role offers a 41-hour Monday to Friday week with an over-performance bonus and a £4,000 bonus package (sign-on £2,000, retention £2,000) to support your start and development within a premium brand.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Prep Technician.
• MOT Licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer standards before customer handover.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and right-first-time performance.
