Job summary

Lookers Colchester Land Rover is seeking a PDI Technician to join its workshop. You will perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles, assist with servicing and repairs, and report to the Aftersales Manager with ongoing support and training opportunities, including manufacturer schemes and hybrid/electric training.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician or experienced Mechanic, with relevant workshop experience.
• Willing to work as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Flexible to work hours including Saturdays on rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles and diagnosis.
• Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient servicing and repair of vehicles.
• Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Builds effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Completes repair and service records/ other appropriate activities.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

Salary: £31,000 plus £3,000 Productivity Bonus and uncapped Time Saved Bonus Scheme

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5 pm, Saturday on rota basis

We are recruiting for a PDI Technician to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside our other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections on new cars also preparation, servicing and repairs of used cars to approved standards. Here at Colchester Land Rover, you will be reporting to the Aftersales Manager, where you will be given on-going support to ensure that you have the tools needed to be able to perform to the very best! Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success.
