Job summary

Sodexo Live! in the UK is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to support high-quality hospitality and event catering at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. You will lead kitchen teams, develop menus and ensure top standards of food safety and guest experience on matchdays and events.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for fresh food, strong organizational skills and a proven track record in premium catering environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef within a fresh food environment.
• Food Safety Level 2 required, Level 3 desirable.
• Experience leading kitchen teams and coaching staff.
• Strong knowledge of food production and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, preparation and delivery of premium hospitality and event menus.
• Produce high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients and creative presentation.
• Supervise and motivate chefs and kitchen teams during service.
• Assist with menu planning, development and cost control.
• Support stock management, ordering and inventory control.
• Ensure exceptional Food Safety, Health & Safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the food offer and guest experience.
• Work across matchdays, conferences, private events and corporate hospitality functions.
