Shanly Homes seeks a hands-on Senior Site Manager to deliver Queens Mead, an exclusive 78-home development in Chiddingfold, Surrey. You will oversee day-to-day management, drive the build programme, and lead subcontractors while upholding exceptional health and safety standards and premium quality.

The role requires a strong background in high-end residential construction, ownership mindset, and a track record of delivering finishes that meet discerning customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within a residential housebuilding environment.
• Strong track record delivering high-quality residential developments from start to finish.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour, programmes and multiple construction activities.
• Detailed understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical information.
• Hands-on, proactive approach and ownership of a site.
• SMSTS and First Aid at Work qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Programme delivery: Own the build programme, ensure milestones are met and resolve delays.
• Site management: Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and resources on site.
• Build quality: Set and maintain high standards from groundworks to handover.
• Health & Safety: Lead a safe, compliant site and ensure risk assessments are followed.
• Team leadership: Direct the site team and foster a professional, collaborative environment.
• Subcontractor management: Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Quality control: Work with quality team to address defects early.
• Customer journey: Support Sales and Customer Service during handover to customers.
• Site presentation: Maintain a clean, organized site reflecting Shanly Homes quality.
