Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is seeking a Leather Fabricator in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role involves fabricating, trimming and assembling leather automotive interior components to exact specifications in a busy, professional manufacturing environment.

Hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site work. The ideal candidate has automotive/manufacturing experience, leather fabrication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues while

• Previous experience within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leather fabrication would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to identify, rework and resolve quality issues.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to understand and follow written instructions.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling automotive interior components
• Trimming and wrapping interior components using leather
• Working to detailed specifications and production requirements
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out end-of-line quality control checks
• Identifying defects and carrying out rework where required
• Resolving production and quality issues
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the production process
