Job summary

Lucari Solutions Limited in Playden, England, is seeking an Automotive Upholsterer/Trimmer to join our production team. You will fit and finish leather and nylon trim, strip out and re-trim seats and panels, and ensure panels are accurately fitted to pattern and tension.

Qualifications

• Reliable timekeeping with a steady, consistent pace.
• Safe and competent use of solvent-based glues and aerosols.
• Ability to troubleshoot common fitting and finishing issues.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Join our production team fitting and finishing high-quality automotive interior parts. We are expanding our team of Automotive Upholsterers / Trimmers in response to growing demand and our commitment to the standards that have built our reputation in the automotive interior sector.

Reports to Head of Production

Responsibilities

• Fit and finish leather and nylon based trim and upholstery to a high standard
• Strip out and re-trim seats, panels and interior components
• Fit finished covers and panels accurately to pattern and tension
• Carry out cutting, gluing and hand-finishing work alongside fitting tasks as required
• Use solvent-based adhesives, aerosols and compressor-driven equipment safely
• Identify and resolve fit or finish issues before sign-off
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe workstation
• Work independently and as part of the production team
• Keep a steady pace and meet production targets

Requirements

Must Have

• Good knowledge and experience of automotive upholstery or trim fitting
• Ability to fit and finish leather and nylon based products under tension
• Accurate pattern and panel fitting with strong attention to detail
• Reliable timekeeping with a steady, consistent pace
• Safe and competent use of solvent-based glues and aerosols
• Ability to troubleshoot common fitting and finishing issues
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Experience with industrial sewing machines (preferred)
