Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bartender to deliver a premium beverage experience that is memorable and personal. You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, keeping the bar fully operational, stocked, and presented to the highest standard for our members and guests.

You will prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, engage warmly with guests, maintain cleanliness and stock control, and contribute to new menu ideas.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques, and spirits.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems and stock control.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard.
• Engage with members and guests warmly and professionally.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation.
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishment.
• Ensure licensing, health, and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to new cocktail menus and seasonal offerings.
• Process orders using the POS system and manage billing.
• Collaborate with floor, kitchen, and events teams.
• Handle member queries and escalate as needed.
