Job summary

Soho House is seeking a bartender to deliver a premium beverage experience for members and guests at our London venue. You will support the Bar Manager and Associate Bar Manager, ensuring the bar runs smoothly, remains stocked and presented to the highest standard.

You will prepare a wide range of drinks, engage warmly with members, maintain cleanliness, manage stock, and contribute to new cocktail ideas while using the POS system for orders and billing.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge including classics, techniques and spirits.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.
• Experience working with POS systems, stock control and basic reporting.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and hygiene standards always.
• Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
