HR GO Recruitment is helping a premium chocolate company in Rye Harbour, East Sussex, recruit a Packing Operative. The role is mainly packing, with full training, a friendly team, and a path to permanent employment for reliable staff. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, paying £12.71 per hour.

The site is modern and welcoming, with transport options and a supportive team environment. It’s hands-on, fast-paced work with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse or packing experience required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced packing environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging for chocolate products.
• Apply labels to packaging by hand.
• Fill product tubes and containers by hand.
• Pack finished products carefully and accurately.
• Check packaging and products for quality.
• Prepare finished products for the next stage.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow instructions and work to daily targets.
• Support other areas of the operation as needed.
