Job summary

Charles Hurst in Belfast is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our showroom team and drive customer service excellence across the full sales journey. You will develop lasting customer relationships, coach staff, and report to the Franchise Sales Manager.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive basic salary (£40,000-£45,000) with a bonus opportunity, 44 hours per week, and Sundays off. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lead a highly motivated team and get the best out of each team member.
• Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and understanding finance/insurance product regulations; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full sales process from web inquiry to phone and showroom interactions.
• Managing staff performance through structured 1:1s, training, and development.
• Implementing department targets and brand KPI's.
• Responsible for buying in vehicles and keeping stock pricing up to date.
• Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department.
• Manage and own Customer Satisfaction.
