Job summary

Balvac, part of Balfour Beatty, is seeking a Methods & Proposals Engineer to join the Warrington team. You will work with Engineering, Preconstruction and Operations to develop robust methodologies and technical proposals that win work and set projects up for success.

You should have an engineering degree and be working towards or holding professional membership (IEng/CEng). Experience in civil engineering and building strong technical documentation is desirable.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) required.
• Working towards or holding IEng/CEng with ICE.
• Experience with civil engineering contractors or consultants.
• Strong written and spoken communication and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiry documents and client briefs to shape proposals.
• Prepare technical queries, delivery plans and buildability reviews.
• Develop engineering solutions and generate technical docs.
• Support ECI tenders and coordinate design inputs.
• Ensure design reviews and interdisciplinary checks are completed.
