Job summary

TEAM, Inc. in the United Kingdom (Carlisle area) seeks a workshop-based technician to provide fast and flexible service in the manufacture of leak sealing hardware, precision components and equipment.

The role includes supporting other workshop areas to complete jobs and informing the Workshop Manager of delays or shortages. You will hold an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, operate workshop machines and hand tools, solve problems, and read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship / qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use the range of workshop and engineering machines and hand held equipment.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to read Engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and flexible service in the manufacture of leak sealing hardware, precision and fabricated components.
• Support other areas of the workshop to assist with job completion.
• Inform the Workshop Manager of anticipated delays to deadlines.
• Inform Workshop Manager of equipment / materials shortages which may affect day to day work.
• Work within the scope of quality assurance, safety and procedures.
• Complete all relevant paperwork associated with daily production activities.
• Maintain machinery, equipment and PPE and assist in housekeeping.
• Be flexible with teamwork and getting the job done.
• Promote Core Values in all work activities.
