Job summary

The successful candidate will work in a workshop environment, refurbishing and inspecting mechanical seals, managing stock, and supporting day-to-day workshop operations.

Training will be provided on equipment such as lapping machines, lathes, and milling machines, in a hands-on role that emphasizes accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop, engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical environment.
• Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish and repair mechanical seals using workshop machinery and hand tools.
• Carry out quality inspections on incoming and outgoing products.
• Operate workshop equipment, including lapping machines, lathes, and milling machines (training provided where required).
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Support other workshop and operational activities as required.
