Recruitment Helpline Ltd. invites applications for an experienced Inspection & Workshop Engineer to join our established team in Lichfield (WS13).

In this role, you will perform rigorous quality inspections of manufactured items and mechanical components within the workshop, and provide secondary fitting and assembly support to production as needed. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics, record inspection results, and ensure all items meet strict standards before

Formación

• Proven background in quality control/inspection and mechanical fitting/assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and standard power tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a zero-defects mindset.
• Able to work independently and with site engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rigorous quality inspection and verification of manufactured items in the workshop.
• Support production by secondary mechanical fitting and assembly.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, material specs, and schematics.
• Record inspection results and sign off items for site installation.
• Maintain workshop safety and adhere to quality management standards.
• Collaborate with fabrication and site engineering teams.
