Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) currently seeks Manufacturing Specialists to join a 24/7 wafer fabrication team in Springtown. You will operate high-tech machines and perform machine-tending duties to maximise utilisation while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires working a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends, in a cleanroom environment with strict PPE and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of machines within a high-tech production environment.
• Carry out machine-tending duties to maximise utilisation and support site production goals.
• Work within a small shift cell of 3-4 colleagues within a larger team of 30-40.
• Support maintenance activities across a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (days, nights, weekends).
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Meet departmental performance and quality targets.
• Contribute to team objectives and collaborative success.
• Identify and help resolve issues within the production process.
• Assist with improvements to procedures, processes, and techniques.
• Follow all documentation systems relevant to production.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and wafer-handling protocols.
• Use tools and equipment effectively and appropriately.
• Complete training as required.
