Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking an experienced Toolmaker for its site in Hastings. You will work in a busy Tool Shop, producing, maintaining and repairing tooling to exact specs, reading detailed drawings and meeting tight tolerances.

You will collaborate with Designers and customers to understand requirements and resolve tooling faults while delivering on time within an engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker in engineering/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings.
• Experience tooling to precise specs and tight tolerances.
• Practical knowledge of engineering workshop environments.
• Experience using a range of hand and machine tools.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce, maintain, and repair tooling to exact specifications.
• Operate within a busy Tool Shop using a range of equipment.
• Collaborate with Designers and Customers to meet technical requirements.
• Identify and rectify tooling faults and operational issues.
