Job summary

Reliance Worldwide Corporation (RWC) is seeking an experienced toolroom technician to repair, maintain, and manufacture mould and press tooling. The role requires working to BS drawing standards, using precision measurement tools, and ensuring tooling meets quality specs.

Candidates should have an engineering qualification or apprenticeship and hold an Abrasive Wheels certificate. The company offers development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or time served apprenticeship.
• Abrasive Wheels Regulations certificate required.
• Experience with mould tooling and tool repairs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute work to meet section deadlines.
• Manufacture per tool order requests using current drawings.
• Work to BS 308 drawing standards and related BS standards.
• Measure with micrometers, Verniers, slip gauges and gauges.
• Repair, maintain and improve mould and press tooling.
• Inspect tooling to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and work instructions.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, surface/grinders and EDM sinkers.
