Job summary

A large international manufacturer in the UK is seeking an experienced Toolroom Engineer to join their team. This role involves the manufacture of new tooling, refurbishment of existing tooling, and developing innovative solutions for efficient production. Applicants should have a City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering, a completed apprenticeship in toolmaking, and at least 5 years of experience in tooling and precision engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Toolroom Engineer, Toolroom Technician, or Toolmaker.
• Proven experience in mould tool and assembly tool manufacture.
• Ability to machine to exacting tolerances using milling, turning, grinding, and related methods.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture new tooling and refurbish existing tooling for moulding and product assembly.
• Develop innovative tooling solutions to support efficient manufacture.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
