Rayner in Worthing is hiring a Production Technician to join the manufacturing team producing intraocular lenses. The role requires precision, strong work ethic, and adherence to SOPs in a 12-hour shift cycle (7am–7pm, 4 on/4 off) on a full-time permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or manufacturing is desirable.
• Able to follow written procedures and processes accurately.
• Good manual dexterity and a precise approach to hands-on work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good written and numerical English.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and process equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures and training.
• Complete batch documentation accurately according to workflows.
• Understand and follow change control environment requirements.
• Assist with process improvement activities and new methods.
• Ensure the company’s Health & Safety policies are followed.
• Complete data entries accurately on process records.
• Maintain accurate data entries throughout shifts.
