Job summary

Emplas Window Systems Limited, a UK-based window and door fabricator, is seeking an Order Processor to handle accurate order processing for conservatories, roofs, doors and windows. You will prepare specifications from customer information and drawings and manage commercial quotes with precision.

Role requires Window Designer proficiency and strong IT skills. Working hours are 40 per week (Mon-Fri, 08:30–17:00) with a salary of £24,784.50.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in the window processing field.
• Proficiency with Window Designer or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations within the window industry.
• Ability to prepare quotations and manufacturing specification sheets from ITT documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: Estimate and process commercial quotes and orders with accuracy.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed specification documents from customer information and architectural drawings.
• Software Operation: Use industry-specific software (e.g., Window Designer) to verify processing accuracy.
• Scheduling: Maintain master schedules and track project metrics for real-time visibility.
• Procurement: Conduct material take-offs, produce MRP and bespoke orders, and liaise with purchasing.
• Quality Control: Check work for accuracy and stay updated on building regulations.
• Client Liaison: Send order confirmations, technical drawings, and provide technical support.
• Performance: Achieve KPIs and personal targets set by management.
