Job summary

MacGregor Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Order Processor to join a Nottingham based team. You will accurately process quotes and orders from customers or surveyors, using window/door knowledge to check specifications and process orders in the software.

You will also verify pricing, forward orders to suppliers, and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships while handling general admin tasks and customer updates. This role is full-time and based in Nottingham.

Qualifications

• Window and door product knowledge is essential.
• Order processing experience is desirable; training can be provided.
• Understanding of window and door regulations is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes and orders from customers directly or via the surveyor.
• Use product knowledge to verify specifications and process orders in the system.
• Check prices and forward orders to 3rd party suppliers as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Provide wider administrative support, including answering calls and updating customers.

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Order Processor to join an established and successful independently owned supplier and installer of windows and doors based in Nottingham.

Window & Door product knowledge is essential, order processing experience is very desirable – but the business will consider offering order processing system training as required.

Order Processor role:

• Joining an small office based team in Nottingham you will accurately process quotes & orders received from customers directly or by the surveyor
• Using your product knowledge to check specifications and details and process orders using window order processing software
• Checking prices and sending orders to 3rd party suppliers as required
• Delivering a great customer and maintaining great relationships with suppliers
• Wider administrative support including answering incoming calls, responding to customersand updating customers

Skills & Experience:

• Window & Door product knowledge is essential
• Specific experience of order processing windows and doors is highly desirable – but not essential as training can be considered
• An understanding of window and door relevant regulations is preferable
• The successful candidate will be methodical, accurate & efficient in approach and have great people skills
• Salary band is £25k – £35k depending on skills & experience
• Hours of work are 08.00-16.00 (OR 09.00-17.00) Monday to Friday
