Job summary

MacGregor Recruitment Solutions in the Birmingham area is seeking an Order Processor to join an established manufacturing and supply business for windows and doors. You will handle customer enquiries, provide product information and quotations, and process orders using specialist software.

Good accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential; knowledge of Windows/Doors products and regulations is beneficial; 37.5 hour week, 25 days leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in order processing for windows/doors is essential.
• Knowledge of aluminium windows is an advantage.
• Understanding of window/door products and relevant regulations.
• Meticulous, accurate and efficient with strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries with product information and advice.
• Check order requirements and specifications; generate quotations/orders in Business Micros Evolution and LogiKal.
• Check prices and send orders to 3rd party suppliers as required.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Provide general admin support including calls, quotes follow-up, and updating customers.

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced Order Processor to join an established manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based in the Birmingham area.

Order Processor role:

• Joining an order processing team and working within an open plan office you will respond to customer enquiries, providing product information and advice as required
• Check order requirments & specifications and process accurate window and door quotations / orders using Business Micros Evolution and LogiKal systems
• Checking prices and sending orders to 3rd party suppliers where required
• Maintaining great relationships with customers and suppliers
• Wider administrative support including answering incoming calls, responding to customers., following up quotes and updating customers

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience of order processing windows and doors using business micros system (or similar) is essential
• SPecific experience with Aluminium windows is a great advantage
• An understanding of window and door products and relevant regulations
• The successful candidate will be methodical, accurate & efficient in approach and have great people skills
• Salary band is £26-£27,400 depending on skills & experience
• Hours of work are 08.30-16.30 Monday to Friday
• 25 days annual leave, plus statutory (33 days in total)
