Concept Recruitment Group Ltd is sourcing a Fabricator - MIG/TIG Welder in Huddersfield for a permanent, direct-employment role. The position offers 38 hours per week (Mon-Thu, 7:00am–4:45pm with a 30-minute lunch break) and a salary of £29,640–£31,616 per year, plus an hourly rate of £15.00–£16.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MIG & TIG welding experience required.
• Fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of workshop tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• MIG & TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Fabricating and assembling metal components.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Cutting, grinding and preparing materials.
• Checking finished welds for quality.
• Carrying out repairs and rework when required.
• Keeping tools and equipment maintained.
• Working safely and to production deadlines.
