Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for an on-site role in Sheffield, offering up to £15.08 per hour with pension and benefits. You will weld mild steel (typically 4mm+), build jigs, and fabricate assemblies from drawings for vehicle interiors and large structures.

The position is temp to perm, with full-time hours and a safety-focused workshop environment. Applicants should be time served or highly skilled welders with a strong fabrication background, ready to work shifts, adapt to

Qualifications

• Time served or highly experienced MIG Welder.
• Strong jig building and fabrication skills.
• Confident welding 4mm+ mild steel unassisted.
• Ability to work accurately from drawings.
• Experience with vehicle interiors or heavy fabrication is an advantage.
• Good understanding of measurements, angles and fabrication layouts.

Responsibilities

Hours: 07:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 11:00 Friday - 40 hours including 2 x paid breaks
