Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Metal Polisher in Crawley to join a growing, employee-owned business on a permanent contract. The role focuses on finishing stainless steel components to a flawless, hygienic standard in a food-manufacturing environment.

You will operate grinding and polishing machinery, select appropriate tools, inspect finished work, and maintain an orderly workspace. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of polishing experience and good attention to detail, with the fitness

Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience in metal polishing, ideally stainless steel finishing.
• Experience in food manufacturing or hygienic fabrication is desirable.
• Confident with hand tools and polishing machinery, able to spot defects by sight.

Responsibilities

• Polish stainless steel components to a smooth, hygienic finish per industry standards.
• Operate grinding and polishing machinery to remove stains and achieve consistent surfaces.
• Choose appropriate tools and techniques for each job to ensure the finish is exact.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards before moving on.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times.
