Job summary

Prime Appointments is recruiting a Metal Finisher for a well-established catering equipment manufacturer in Braintree. The role involves fettling, polishing stainless-steel components and preparing parts for finishing and assembly.

You will work in a busy workshop, using hand and power tools to achieve high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate has proven experience in stainless-steel polishing and fettling, a strong eye for detail, and a reliable, hardworking approach in a manufacturing

Metal Polisher - Braintree - Day Shift - Full Time - £15 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Metal Finisherto join a well-established catering equipment manufacturer based in Braintree. This is a full time opportunity offering £15 per hour.

This role would suit an experienced Metal Polisher with a background in stainless-steel polishing and fettling, who is confident using a range of hand and power tools.

About the role:

As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for fettling, preparing and polishing stainless-steel components used within bespoke catering equipment. You will work within a busy workshop environment, ensuring components are finished to a high standard and ready for the next stage of production.

Polishing & Fettling Bias

• Polishing stainless-steel components to a high-quality finish
• Carrying out fettling and preparation of metalwork
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Removing imperfections, sharp edges and excess material
• Preparing components for finishing and assembly
• Working to required quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop area
• Following all relevant health & safety procedures
