Job summary

Vectis Recruitment is assisting a UK manufacturer of low-volume, bespoke architectural components to recruit a Metal Polisher. You will polish and finish machined aluminium parts to a high standard, handling small, detailed components and preparing surfaces for the cosmetic finish.

You will remove machining marks, inspect for imperfections, follow job specifications, and manage your own workload to meet production deadlines.

• Previous professional experience in metal polishing or metal finishing.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to identify surface imperfections and achieve a consistent high-quality finish.

Working on a range of bespoke, low-volume products, you will be responsible for polishing and finishing a wide variety of machined metal components. The products vary considerably in shape, size and complexity previous metal pol, so metal polishing or metal finishing experience and a keen eye for detail is essential
