Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician in Dorking to assemble and test a range of mechanical equipment. You will read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and manage assemblies with 150 components per build using basic measuring tools such as micrometers and digital calipers.

CNC or manual machining familiarity is advantageous, and precision, independence, and 5S discipline are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings for sub-assemblies
• Fitting tolerances and critical dimensions
• Building complex assemblies per drawings and instructions (up to 150 components)
• Fault-finding and determining causes of failures
• Attention to detail to identify issues that could cause test failure
• Self-motivation; work independently toward targets
• Awareness of 5S in the workplace
• Knowledge of Manual or CNC machinery
• Tool making skills for one-off and bulk orders
• Use of measuring tools (micrometer, digital caliper)
• Intricate fine-tolerance mechanical experience
