Job summary

DS Smith is recruiting for a Machine Operative on a permanent term, reporting to the Shift Manager. You will operate machinery to maximise efficiency, maintain safety, and help hit productivity targets.

The role supports maintenance and continuous improvement while working within a 3-shift pattern (days, afternoons, nights) in Livingston. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, life assurance, income protection, EAP, employee discounts, and a cycle-to-work

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/machine operating environment.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, and willingness to learn.

• Meet productivity and quality targets and follow planned maintenance schedules.
• Maintain safe working practices in line with SSOW and company procedures.
• Assist with improvement initiatives and support the team.
