DS Smith is seeking an on-site operative to safely run production machinery, maximise efficiency and meet productivity and quality targets. The role includes routine cleaning and maintenance and active involvement in site-wide improvement initiatives.

You will report hazards, follow Safe Systems of Work, and work flexibly as part of a multi-skilled team to maintain a safe and efficient operation at our UK site.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operating production machinery in line with company procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
• Maximising efficiency and minimising downtime
• Achieving productivity, performance and quality targets
• Completing cleaning and routine maintenance tasks as scheduled
• Reporting faults, hazards and safety concerns
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
