DS Smith Packaging is seeking a Machine Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will operate production machinery, maintain safety and quality, and contribute to meeting daily targets.

The role requires 1 year of experience, and offers a 3-shift pattern (days, afternoons, nights) with competitive salary and benefits including holiday entitlement and pension support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/machine operating environment.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Meet productivity and quality targets.
• Adhere to safety procedures and SSOW.
• Carry out maintenance and cleaning tasks according to schedule.
